The hidden commercial gap

More leads will not fix an inconsistent follow-up process.

Many good businesses are busy delivering the work. Quotations are sent, enquiries arrive and previous customers are served—but the next conversation is not always scheduled or recorded.

North Revenue Desk gives that neglected work a clear owner, a defined process and a visible outcome.

Stalled quotations

A customer receives a quote, goes quiet and never receives a calm, structured follow-up.

Dormant enquiries

Potential work remains in inboxes and spreadsheets without a clear next action or owner.

Repeat opportunities

Servicing, renewals, repeat projects and referrals are left to memory rather than a process.

Disconnected records

Important context is spread across notebooks, email threads and several different systems.

A practical revenue desk

Focused follow-up without another full-time hire.

We work inside an agreed boundary: the right records, the right message, the right channel and a complete account of what happened.

01

Review

We identify which quotations, enquiries or previous customers are suitable and appropriate to revisit.

02

Prepare

We agree priorities, exclusions, wording, channels, identity and the exact handover process.

03

Follow up

We make the agreed contact attempts and record every response, non-response and next action.

04

Return

Interested customers are returned to your team with context, a clear next step and no missing history.

Your reputation stays protected

Your customers. Your wording. Your final decision.

North Revenue Desk is not an aggressive call centre. The purpose is to reopen appropriate conversations professionally—not to pressure people who are not interested.

  • You approve the message before contact begins.
  • You decide which records are included or excluded.
  • You choose whether we identify as North Revenue Desk or work under an agreed authorised approach.
  • You receive a documented outcome for every selected opportunity.
  • You retain the customer relationship, pricing and closing decision.

What the fee pays for

The agreed review, preparation, follow-up activity, record keeping, handover and final report. Customer purchasing decisions cannot be guaranteed, so the service is not charged only when a sale occurs.

Best fit

Built for quote-led and relationship-led service businesses.

The strongest fit is an established business where one recovered conversation could be worth considerably more than the pilot fee.

Fire & security Commercial electrical HVAC & ventilation Property maintenance Fit-out contractors Commercial cleaning Training providers Technical consultancies Professional services Specialist suppliers

Usually a good fit when…

  • Your business issues quotations, proposals or consultation-led offers.
  • One converted opportunity has meaningful commercial value.
  • Follow-up competes with delivery, site work or urgent operations.
  • You can provide accurate, lawful records and a responsive handover contact.

Not the right fit when…

  • There are no historic opportunities to review.
  • The records are inaccurate, unlawfully obtained or inappropriate to contact.
  • You want aggressive pressure, disputed debt collection or guaranteed sales.
  • Your team cannot respond when a customer re-engages.

Deliberately small by design

Quietly operated. Directly accountable.

North Revenue Desk works with a limited number of clients at a time. The first engagement is deliberately scoped, transparent and split into two payments. There is no long contract and no vague revenue promise—you can judge the work, the records and the final report.

Questions before we begin

Clear scope. Clear expectations.

Still unsure whether it fits? Start with the free review. Where the service is not suitable, we will say so.

Is the first review genuinely free?

Yes. The 15–20 minute Revenue Leak Review is a diagnosis only. No customer contact, database work or multi-day delivery takes place at that stage.

Why is the £250 fee split into two payments?

The founding-client sprint is £125 to begin and £125 when the final tracker and report are delivered. This gives both sides a fair level of commitment without asking a new client to risk the full fee upfront.

What exactly am I paying for?

You are paying for the agreed review, preparation, structured follow-up activity, record keeping, appointment handover and final report—not for a guaranteed sale.

Will you contact customers as our company?

Only where agreed and properly authorised. The communication method, wording, identity, permissions and escalation route are confirmed before contact begins.

Do we need a CRM?

No. The sprint can begin with a clean spreadsheet, suitable inbox records or your current CRM. We use the simplest appropriate system.

Is this debt collection?

No. The service focuses on enquiries, quotations, previous customers and appropriate commercial follow-up—not disputed debt or legal collection activity.

Do you work on commission only?

Not for the founding sprint. Commission-only arrangements can create uncertainty over which activity caused a sale and when a fee becomes due. A fixed fee keeps the work and expectations clear.

What happens after the sprint?

You receive the completed tracker and final report. There is no automatic renewal. Where an ongoing need is proven, a separate monthly service can be discussed.
